• Why do we look for meaning
  • We learn that there are reasons for why things happen
  • It’s important to look for meaning in not only why good things occur, but what flaws exist in the system that bad things occur as well

Meaning is the primary goal. It’s about how we fit into the larger picture. Since we all work as part of the larger entity, we want to make sure that we aren’t working with a smaller goal against a larger goal. You don’t want to be the few fibers of a muscle that are contracting while everything else is trying to relax. This only happens when we trust that the work we are given is beneficial to us and all the larger parts of life that we come into contact with.
